Baby boy looking up at some bells

Together for Short Lives works with its members to champion, improve and support children’s palliative care services and professionals across the UK. The organisation has over 1,000 members including children’s hospices, voluntary and statutory sector organisations and professionals who care for seriously ill children and their families.

Together for Short Lives also works directly with families, connecting them with support services and other families who understand their situation and can offer advice, peer support or practical help.

Together for Short Lives also campaigns for increased funding for children’s palliative care, whether the child is in hospital, accessing hospice support or at home.

True Colours is currently working with Together for Short Lives on a piece of work to ascertain how children are best identified as requiring palliative care services. This work will take place throughout 2023 in the form of a number of events for professionals and parents with lived experience of children’s palliative care.
